The Hungarian Society of Nutrition was established in 1967, aiming to collect all professionals who are working in the field of nutrition, food sciences and manufacturing. There are more than 400 members, physicians, dieticians, midwifes, researchers in the field of nutrition, food manufacturers and experts of gastronomy and hospitality.

Criteria of membership: higher graduations (BSC, MSC levels)

Since its foundations, the Society has been continuously active. On the traditional annual meetings space is offered to present recent scientific findings. Experts from abroad are often invited to present comparisons between internationals and Hungarian research and trends. The Hungarian Society of Nutrition, including its key-members has wide international scientific networks as being a member of the Federation of European Nutritional Societies and the International Union of Nutritional Societies.

Our society is working for the healthy nutrition of the entire Hungarian population and for the medical nutritional therapies.
